We are ESquare, an entrepreneurial technology Private Equity firm investing the capital of its founding partners and that of a rapidly expanding network of successful entrepreneurs and family offices in internationally active, fast-growing and profitable technology companies. We are crazy about tech, deeply value long term relationships and love to build great technology companies together with ambitious, passionate entrepreneurs and management teams. With our first fund focused on software-as-a-service (SaaS) & IT companies and warehouse technology, our second fund aims to build a portfolio of scalable technology companies active in smart hardware (high-tech, Internet-of-Things, Robotics) based in the Benelux or Germany.

Investment Criteria
Great and fun people
Above all, we invest in people. Strong, people-driven management teams with a proven track record in delivering excellent results. There must be a strong connection.
Robust, tech-driven companies
We only invest in established companies founded 5+ years ago, with a positive EBITDA and scaling potential. And we only invest where we have expertise, network and added value, and where technology is a driving force, such as in high-tech, IT, SaaS and platforms.
Equity tickets EUR 2-10m
We initially invest EUR 2-10m of our equity per deal, with the potential to provide follow-on capital afterwards. As an entrepreneurial investor, we are flexible with regard to the deal structure and are comfortable with both majority and minority shareholdings, as long as we are fully aligned.
(Pre-)exits and growth capital
We happily support (pre-)exits, where owners remain involved or even in control while providing growth capital, management buy-outs & buy-ins, succession situations and full exits.
